If I'm doing an interview and somebody goes, well, you know, you're one of those clean

comedians. I almost bristle a little bit because to me that implies not as funny. And so the challenge for me has always been, okay

can I do it this way but still make you laugh as hard as is somebody working blue.

Sometimes when you find a way not to say something,

it's actually funnier than saying it.

I was preparing a set for the tonight show

and Linno was hosting and it was back in the time where everybody in the country was filming the

delivery of their kid and and I said Jake and I do a routine about filming childbirth.

And he's like, you know, man, I don't know.

That's, you know, right up there close to the line,

you gotta be careful.

So it became a challenge. I'm like like can I write a joke about this and so the the joke was I said everybody said oh you should film the delivery it's such a beautiful moment and I said you know I've seen those films to me

It looks like a wet st. Bernard trying to come in through the cat door

There's nothing dirty though.

You know, there's not, but you can just imagine this wet sea.

Okay, all right, Jeff, okay.

To me, that's actually funnier than saying what it really looked like.

I only stopped you because I've only been on the other end of that.

So I know what it feels like to have a Saint Bernard get out of the cat door.

That's awesome.
