It is raining and sleeting and windy where I am. I hope the rest of you have better weather as you watch our broadcast. We are joined today, of course, by the men of the hour. We have Radio Free Mormon. How are you? Just fine. Thank you, Rebecca. Great. How's the weather where you are? Absolutely gorgeous, as it should be on the 20th day of May. I'm in Utah. I'm sorry. I have no explanation except for the weather is cursed here. And Bill Real, how are you today? And how's the weather? You're also in Utah. Life is good. I'm in southern Utah, which is the desert. And it's probably, it's kind of cool now because it looks like it's going to rain

outside but it was like 85 degrees today.

Oh my gosh. I really live in the wrong place. Well, regardless of the weather, we're really

excited to bring you all the news in the Mormon world today. Let's go to our first slide and

we'll recap the stories that we're going to cover and then we will dive right in.

Okay. We are going to be talking about Mormon seminary.

Is it detrimental to teens?

That is a big question, and I bet a lot of you have strong opinions on that like I do.

We're also going to be talking about temples, Tisk, Tisks, LDS women and one-sided sealing policies.

And as our thumbnail represented, the priesthood ban members versus leaders. And I believe that's Bill's story. And I believe that's first,

Good evening. Tonight, we note a significant shift in perspective within the Church of Jesus Christ

of Latter-day Saints, otherwise known as the Mormons, regarding a historically contentious issue,

the priesthood and temple ban that once prohibited black members from full participation.

Recent surveys indicate that 36% of Latter-day Saints now believe that the ban was uninspired

and primarily a product of racism.

This growing consensus contrasts sharply with earlier church teachings and public statements.
