It was a fun weekend for football fans, at least for the diehard types who listened to this kind of podcast because it was the NFL Combine weekend, which means, you know, a lot of time to watch these prospects. And I think the fun part for me about this weekend, Nick, and I always find this every year is not just like seeing what these guys 40 yard dashes or for me it's the it's the

r as the relative athletic score because I just put so much more weight into that than like the 40 yard dash or the one-offs. I really like the agility test and things like that. But to me, it's just getting to listen to Daniel Jeremiah tidbits and nuggets and other people who are also smart and analysts on that NFL network broadcast throughout the days because I'll just be sitting there watching these drills or whatever is going on with some focus on the drills. I want to see how these guys move in space. That's important to me. But I also want to listen to some of the nuggets, especially when it's nuggets about what could happen in the trade market, what could happen with free agency, what's some names that

people are talking about. It's going to be a really interesting draft for the Giants, Nick. I think we've started to really understand that with, you know, reports coming out of the Giants are looking to trade up and get aggressive at the quarterback position. Some reports that they might take one at six, some reports that we'll talk about today, they might trade up to four, take the fourth quarterback that one's interesting but you know as we've kind of moved through this to me

But, you know, as we've kind of moved through this to me, it's become clear that, and we'll see where this goes, but the giants are not feel, do not feel settled long term at the quarterback position. But at the same time, there's so many other positions they could take and a lot of better players they can take. And I'm even entertaining the idea now, Nick, of potentially trading back, which is something interesting just because of how freaking loaded this class is, dude. Like, you know, you see some of these top. And we'll talk about it more on the next pod because they, for this, we're going to break this up into two pods. We're going to do one pod, this one here that's going to touch on defensive prospects that stood out to us at the combine, but also on some news. And we're going to start with the news at the top and reports.

the offensive podcast. There's just so much to talk about on the offense. But I mean, these tackles and receivers do. This class is as loaded as I've ever seen it. And, you know, usually you'll get these guys who have really good tape and people like Jeremiah will put them in their early top 50.

And you'll be like, all right.

Like, you know, are these guys really good prospects or are they not going to translate from an athletic standpoint at the end of level? That's just not the case with these. Every single one of these top dudes at wide receiver and tackle showed out at the combine with the exception

of a guest kion coleman who ran a four six four but if you watch kion komen in the gauntlet drill

and you see his short shuttle you see the change direction that he has for a guy who's that size

you're like no i don't care about his four six four forty let him fall let him fall yeah so crazy

class but nick before we get into what we're going to talk about today, which is some reports on the Giants and rumors, I want to just get anything, your overall thoughts of just having the Combine weekend pass. And if you enjoyed kind of watching that and like, you know, going through day by day. Yeah, I absolutely love watching the Combine. And I had a lot going on this week as i'm still moving but i was still keeping

myself abreast of what is going on and watching the drills and being an absolute and utter nerd

while also learning some of these players that i haven't necessarily watched yet and that's one another

thing about the combine because i think you did a really good job outlining this i love the commentary
