Glad to have you hanging out with me again after a busy week following the draft.

This is kind of the unofficial start to the fantasy season because once we get the rookie

landing spot set, then we have a pretty good idea of what rosters are going to look like

come training camp. I mean, it's not 100% because there's still a few free agents kicking

around they could change things up especially in a few backfields right we're waiting to see what

happens with zeke and with leonard four net maybe even a trade or two that could go down but overall

we have a pretty clear picture now of what we're going to be working with for the 2023 season and

that means i have just been updating like a madman over the last week.

I mean, fresh rookie rankings went out on Sunday.

I did a full sweep of the dynasty trade value charts on Monday and then had a new

version of the 2023 redraft rankings.

That went out on Wednesday and all that stuff's available for free over at the score.

And the plan for today's show is I quickly want to go over some of the changes to the rookie rankings just after the draft. A few things are different now. I'm also in a couple rookie drafts already. So that's kind of helped me shed some light on where I'm willing to pick different players. And I think that's an important step of the process to really test your theories out. And when you're on the clock, that's when you know for sure how you feel about guys. So we're going to talk about my updated rookie ranks for the first two rounds, first 24. I think it might be 25 picks, to be honest, just because that's kind of where the tears end. and then I'm going to hit on the late round sleepers that I'm targeting in those same drafts. And hopefully the other analysts of my leagues aren't listening to the show. We don't want them to know this information. But we'll see if we can find a diamond or two in the rough in those later rounds. Because when you do that, when you get good value from those late round picks, it's just like for an NFL team. It's like winning the lottery, right? It can completely swing your dynasty season if you hit on one of those late round or UDFA breakouts. So I just think of guys like Philip Lindsay. I think of James Robinson, what those kind of guys did in their rookie years. We didn't really expect those massive seasons from them.

And yet we got it.

So that's what we're trying to uncover there.
