A few episodes ago, we are the audio of a panel I moderated

with writers who work for all the late night shows

that filmed in New York.

And it was fun, funny, and informative, so I thought, let's try it again.

This time with the writers for the shows that shoot in LA.

So we did exactly that.

At the end of July at Neue House, we summoned five writers,

Jesse Gascal of Conan, Danny Riker of Jimmy Kimmel Live,

Matt Gunn of Real Time with Bill Maher,

and Bill Maherson, Jocelyn Richard of I Love New America with Sarah Silverman,

and Jenny Yang of busy tonight.

It should be noted that those last two shows had already been canceled by the time with the

panel.

If you listen to the first panel, you'll notice pretty quickly with this one that it is different.

For the New York panel I intentionally focused on newish writers

opposed to producers. The LA panel included Jesse who has been at Kona for five years, Matt who has been at real time for 13, and Danny who is the co-head writer at Kimmel.
