| 0:49.3 | spoiler alert there isn't, I would have a few checkmarks. I purposely live in a diverse |
| 0:55.4 | neighborhood. I read anti-racist books. I donate to anti-racist organizations. I |
| 1:00.1 | have a black son. I have close- back friends, I participate in formal anti-racist conversations |
| 1:06.7 | and I run a social impact business that amplifies melanated skin across the globe. |
| 1:12.3 | But I want you to know that it's not enough. This isn't |
| 1:16.1 | about checking boxes. This isn't about saying, yeah I watched Jess Mercy and I |
| 1:20.4 | cried and I felt awful about it. Why? Because checklist and but doing this work of |
| 1:27.3 | anti-racism doesn't. And while all of those things helped me to learn and grow in this space, |
| 1:33.8 | I want you to know that I still find myself operating out of intrinsic biases. |
| 1:40.1 | And that really is what, I understand that this whole term racism, we don't identify with it, |
| 1:48.5 | we might think, oh my gosh, that's the Ku Klux Klan. |
