Red Dot. Okay, here we go.

It was late at night on November 14, 1995, in the city of Beijing, China.

Bus number 375 was on a scheduled route to the neighborhood of fragrant hills,

when the driver noticed two figures on the road ahead, waving him down.

It was between bus stops, and they normally wouldn't have picked them up,

but it was such a cold night that the conductor persuaded him to do so.

The two men boarded.

A few other people got off a bit later, which is how we know what happened that night.

But everyone else on that bus met a grisly fate.

To this day, nearly three decades later, the mystery of what happened on that bus is still unsolved.

And every Chinese shudders in horror at the mention of the ill-fated last bus to fragrant hills.
