Take 2. Yes, we did record a few hours ago, and we were looking at this ticking clock

of Chris Medlin saying, any minute now, we're going to get a decision on this McLaren

disqualification. It didn't come, but we did record the non-McClaren stuff.

So what we're going to do is we're going to talk about that incident, the disqualification of

the McLaren's and its permutations for the championship. Then we're going to do our awards,

and then I'll play out the rest of the podcast that we recorded at 7 o'clock this morning.

We might be wrong, but we're first. So the dramatic news that came out of Las Vegas shortly,

but not shortly enough after the race for podcasting purposes,

was that Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix

for a skid block plankware type

disqualification. I've got people. I've got people on the panel who can describe technically

what's wrong. But they are out. They're disqualified. Their points do not count. That means there's a double

Mercedes podium now. And it also means that Max Mastappen is within 24 points of the championship title, the title lead.
