Well, the do nothing New York Senate finally did something.

They gave themselves a big fat pay raise.

29%.

How'd you late to get?

I'd love that, a 29% pay raise.

Going from $110,000 a year to $142,000 a year, that makes them the highest paid

state senators in the country.

They even had a special session to do this.

That's usually for like emergencies.

You would think they might debate the failed criminal justice system that forces criminals right back

on the street to keep committing crimes until they eventually hurt or kill somebody. Nope,

didn't talk about that. How about fixing the unemployment insurance fund that was paying out

taxpayers' money to people who didn't qualify squandering $11 million in your money.

Surely, surely they talked about that.

Nope, none of that.

They also didn't talk at all about the storm coming in.

We had a big storm coming in.

Maybe they could have had some emergency money to,

you know, to make sure we had more crews out in the roads to make sure that there was some,

that people didn't, not as many people died. Do something. Huge storm coming in. They had to get in and out before the

storm to give themselves a pay raise. Not everybody, of course. This was all Democratic led.
