I was amazed at the lack of tourists.

There aren't a lot of people out for a walk.

I got to Washington after two and a half hours of white knuckle driving, have to go through Baltimore.

And I got out for a walk and I walked down to the White House.

And there were much fewer tourists than I remember seeing in the past. Generally, this is

Easter break. So you would see a lot of school kids in the past. This time of year, it's class trips.

So you would see busloads of students.

I saw one bus by Lafayette Park, which is the park in front of the White House.

And inside the park itself, there weren't that many tourists.

Most of them, I saw two noticeable groups of tourists.
