Welcome to the Scripture Study Project.

We study together by investing our hearts into important questions,

0:12.0

discovering powerful truths from God and His Word,

0:16.0

and connecting meaningfully with others as we learn and teach together. Hey everyone, welcome back.

0:24.6

I want to start this week with one of my favorite stories in the Old Testament,

0:29.6

but before I do, I want to just connect what we're going to do this episode with what we did last episode.

0:34.6

So if you remember, last episode, we studied light, this fifth symbol of

0:40.4

1:29.3

But then we read this one small detail.

1:33.3

All the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

1:38.3

Now, I think there's a spiritual component to that,

1:42.3

but the physical component is they had, probably,

1:45.9

some sort of lamp that gave light to them as they were in their dwelling. There's no, of course,

1:53.2

electric lights in the ancient Near East. And so everything that they got, every kind of light

1:58.4

they got would have come from some kind of either natural source,
