It's like a party. I know it's been more of a somber party lately with the injuries that have hit the Lakers, but hopefully they can get back to their

winning ways this evening again. 7 p.m. Civic Time come hang out. Today's show, we're going to look

at the injury update first. We'll take a peek at the standings and why tonight's game. It kind of

matters quite a bit in the playoff race. JJ may not think the standings matter that much. I disagree. I'm going to

get into that in just a minute as well. Plus, we'll take a look at the keys to victory,

but some really important injury updates here. The big thing, Marcus Smart listed as questionable.

Might he finally be back? It's been weeks since we've seen Marcus Smart. Might he finally be back

in action after a right ankle

contusion has had him out? This is, this would be a big development in a positive way for the

Lakers to get a player like Marcus Smart back. No, he doesn't make up for the loss of Luke

Donchich and Austin Reeves. But, you know, the game against Dallas the other night. I think the Lakers were a Marcus Smart away from winning that game.

I think if Marcus Smart plays, they win the game and win it fairly handling.

I think they would have had a much better counter to what the maps were throwing at them.

And the same is true for this game against the Golden State Warriors, where you could really use a defender, the caliber of Marcus Smart out there. In addition to just, he is a legit NBA player on a

Lakers team right now that is kind of scrambling to find legit NBA players to put out there on

the floor. It's part of what JJ Redick's been doing. LeBron James, not on the injury report.
