Neither team had their full complement of players.

That was pretty obvious watching this game.

It was it the prettiest game?

No, no, of course not. It was not the prettiest game? There were moments where this game looked more like a preseason game might. Not quite, you know, above Summer League, but not quite regular season quality. And frankly, with some of the players that were on the floor, that's to be expected. Both teams had to go deep into their benches. No Steph Curry tonight for Golden State.

Obviously, they're already missing Jimmy Butler.

The Warriors missing tons of players.

The Lakers missing tons of players too, of course.

That is going to be the recipe for a game like this that is sloppy, but nonetheless, a Lakers win and a much needed one.

I thought they did a nice job, especially in the second half, pulling it together, executing the way they needed to, especially on the defensive side of the floor,

thought they played much better together, together defense, you know, shooting passing lanes,

forcing turnovers, things of that nature in the second half of this game.

So now the Lakers set themselves up tomorrow to take on the Phoenix Suns back in L.A.
