game day. Lakers sons tonight 6 p.m. Pacific time. Can the Lakers get back to their winning

waves after suffering an unfortunate loss to the Clippers? They get their opportunity against the

sons. And if this sounds familiar, well, it's because this is now the fifth time this season when we

when we count preseason as well that the Lakers have played the Sons. In other words, since

mid-October, well, I guess beginning of October till now, just days before Christmas,

the Lakers have played the Sons now five times, including tonight's game. And they play them

twice more this season as well.

So I'd imagine the sun's probably getting a little sick of the Lakers and vice versa.

injury update. What's going on with the team right now on the injury front? That is the biggest,

most important story around the Lakers right now as the team is dealing yet again with a number

of injuries. Can they avoid losing two in a row? Something they've managed to do so far this season throughout the entire year. They haven't not lost two in a row. Can they keep that up and get it done tonight despite the significant injuries that they're going to be dealing with? So we're going to take a look at that. Plus, what are the keys to win for the Lakers in this one? Let's dive right in. Let's just give right to it here. The injury report. Austin Reeves, questionable. And right now, the Lakers are a five and a half point underdog going into tonight's game in Phoenix. So the sun's being the home team. But yeah, that's like just the fact that their home team automatically gives

them like a point and a half edge, but five and a half, it's a pretty strong edge. That to me

suggest that there's some belief that Austin Reeves won't play in tonight's game. Obviously,

you have to hope that he does. The Lakers are much more formidable if Austin plays because we've

seen historically when somebody is out, even when two players are out, when we're talking about

the Lakers big three of Luca LeBron and Austin, Austin Reeves tends to step up in a big, big way.

So this is the news we'll be keeping an eye on for the rest of the day.
