My name is Trevor Lane. It's game day.

Lakers Hornets tonight, 7.30 p.m. Pacific time.

But I'll be honest. I have no idea if the Lakers and Hornets are actually going to play tonight.

The terrible fires that have hit Los Angeles have been devastating.

And I know other sporting events have been canceled.

They're looking at maybe moving the Rams game.

As I'm recording this, super, super late Wednesday night.

The plan, the game is still on.

But the NBA is consulting with the Lakers, consulting with the Hornets to make a final

decision there.

And that decision has not been made yet. I will keep everybody up to date with what we know via the YouTube channel. I'm going to do this show as though the Lakers and the Hornets are indeed playing. On today's show, we're going to break down what the Lakers need to do to beat the Hornets to bounce back from bad loss against the Mavericks. I'm going to talk a little bit about Jared Vanderbilt's health and his

pending return. I'll talk about the schedule ahead too. And of course, the trademark and I'm sure

will come up. But this is going to be a bit of a half-hearted show because it's cliche to say it

at this point, but my thoughts, my prayer is certainly with

everybody in Los Angeles. And I know that when I look at our viewership, where our viewers

come from, there's a good chunk of you that are in Southern California that are in Los Angeles.

And those that aren't, I would imagine there's a high percentage of those that are not in

Southern California right now that are the Lakers fans, probably at least know people that are

and that have been affected by what's going on. So again, please stay safe, everybody. I know I finish
