Folks, I wish we were coming here under better circumstances.

Obviously, some rough times in L.A.

Normally right now, we'd be doing the play-by-play for Lakers versus Hornets.

Obviously, that game was not able to happen tonight due to the wildfires that are hitting Los Angeles. We're going to do a few things on tonight's show. Of course, we're going to talk Lakers. We're going to talk about the trade market. We'll talk about rotations. We'll talk about the injury reports, all that kind of stuff. But we're also going to kind of check in on how everybody's doing.

We'll talk about what's going on and all of that.

So joining me tonight.

So glad that he's here with me.

And that is my guy Matt the Optimus Peralta.

Matt, very happy to have you here.

Wish it was under better circumstances.

But thank you for being here, my friend.

Yeah, no, of course.

I felt like it was only right to try and give some people a little bit of a respite

in light of what's been happening in Los Angeles and Southern California.

You know, just full transparency.

I'm based out here in Long Beach, so I'm not nearly as affected as some of the other

people that are, but do want to send some genuine thoughts and prayers out to everyone that's been

affected. I know quite a few people that have been affected by what's been going on. And before I forget,

I also want to say thank you to our first responders or firefighters, the community for, you know, trying to do its part to help,

you know, provide aid and support where they can and shelter even.

To say it's been a wild few days is kind of an understatement.
