It's been a long day.

This is like the seventh, maybe eighth hour of live show, seventh, I think of live shows that I've

been doing today. That's, I am excited about this pick. Let me be clear. Physically, I am tired.

I'm excited about this pick. All right. But the Knicks traded the 24th pick in the draft of the Lakers for 25,

and the Lakers gave up cash in order to do that. Now, that's the nice thing. I don't want to paint this

as a, oh, look, suddenly the Lakers are using cash now that they've got new ownership. No, they did this

last year. Remember, they moved up multiple times last year to get a due zero. But still, good when you are one of the most valuable sports franchises on the planet. Yes, use cash in order to move up. Now, I will say that this does. Technically, it hardcaps the Lakers at the second apron. When you use cash in a trade, that's what that does.

It probably won't matter.

It's not going to affect them because they're not going to be anywhere near the second apron regardless or at least they shouldn't be.

But just point of interest there.

They are now hard capped at the second apron.

So the Lakers move up and they get Cameron Carr.

Now most mock drafts out there from the top draft folks that I follow had Cameron

Carr going earlier than this, had him going.
