Lane over on Instagram at Trevor Lane, NBA. We've got a lot to talk about, I want to base

this show primarily around Lakers trades, which is a big topic. So settle in. We've got a lot of

things to get into. This is, and I know a lot of people have been talking Lakers trades for a while.

And realistically, we've been talking Lakers trades about this particular team, this specific front office.

We've been talking about deals since way back in July, about even in June, when is a trade going to happen?

When will it ultimately get done?

And so I understand there is some fatigue there

from fans who want to see something happen. But what I want to do today is go over kind of a comprehensive

show based around the Lakers trade front and what can happen and how we got here as well. So that's

my plan for this show today. This show is going to be put out as a

Lakers Nation podcast as well as live stream on AMP. Just trying something else out since we've got

the opportunity to put the show out there for people to listen to as I'm actually recording it.

I don't put all of our shows out live typically, but this is another option for listeners to come in while we are doing the show.

So welcome in to anybody who is joining me live over on the AMP app,

which I think is a pretty exciting thing.

But nonetheless, before I dive into everything,

quick background on just me kind of reintroducing myself and all of that one of the things that is

going around a lot right now out there in sports media is a lot of hot takes there's a lot of

people out there that are you know ranting and raving and screaming the lakers need to do this or they

need to do that or they owe lebron this or they don't owe lebron that or whatever. And that's a lot of that is done for clicks.

It's done for attention.
