And I can't tell you all how excited I am right now because we are a week away from Media Day, which means training camp, which means preseason, which means the Lakers are back

in action.

We did get word today from the Lakers that on Thursday, Rob Polika and JJ Reddick are going to meet with the media.

So what I want to talk about to kick off today's show, I'll be taking your questions and comments, of course.

But to kick off today's show, I want to talk about what it is that I'd like to hear on Thursday.

What I want to hear from J.J. Red Redick, what I want to hear from Rob Polinka

at that presser. Essentially what this press conference is, by the way, I've had people asking,

what is this, does this mean something? Does this mean something's up? Something's going on.

Now, this is on Monday when we have Media Day, most of the players will be talking that day.

The way the Lakers typically handle it is a few days before that they'll have a kind of a mini presser with rob polika

jj reddick they'll get they did the same thing last year they'll chat for a little bit and then

they'll kind of knock that out ahead of time and then media day itself will focus on just the players

so that's the way they do it is kind of like i don't know an appetizer for a media day if you will so let's go here
