A lot of stuff going on around the Lakers right now. There's some draft stuff out there. There's, of course, the big pursuit of Dan Hurley to potentially become the Lakers new head coach coach we'll talk a bit about that and uh we'll

talk about trades as well and a little bit of free agency joining me it's matt the out to miss peralta

matt i like the hat uh you know i just thought it was a little appropriate given that we're in the

finals right now that's no one seems to care about because of all the bombshells the past day so yeah i thought it was uh

thought i just remind folks that uh the lakers are indeed one of the best franchises in yeah

that's um absolutely amazing and i hope if like if the hurley negotiations are going to take a while if if they're going to take like a couple days, they're not going to find out till Sunday.

I would prefer even if it means I have to wait a little bit longer to find out.

I hope if it does happen on Sunday that the Lakers wait until tip off for game two of the finals and then drop the news right then

right when it tips off just to completely obliterate a series that nobody's watching anyway

yeah no same uh any chance that you can any chance you can take to stick it to the Celtics

I'm all for it and yeah just brilliant news dump right before game one of the

finals. Matt, so we've got, there's a lot of people that are concerned, I guess, right now,

because if you look at the Lakers YouTube channel, they have a video that says upcoming.

It says June 6th test, June 6 June 6 2024 test but it says scheduled for

June 7th it says upcoming and people are thinking there's something coming on the Lakers

YouTube channel I don't understand why it would be titled June 6 I would imagine they're they're

testing out their live streaming stuff but people are thinking with this hurly stuff going on that maybe there's some sort of announcement coming there i don't think

they've ever announced anything on the youtube channel there so i can i don't know like i don't

i'm not going to read too much into this but it's a thing that people are asking about

yeah no i i i honestly have no clue.

I didn't even know it was a thing until I hopped on.

So, yeah, I mean, if they want to announce down early, though, feel free.
