The Lakers had their media day, start of the season, always fun. And, Dee, I want to do this year's a little bit differently in that I'd like to go player by player, at least the

main guys, and then save sort of our overall takeaways from Media Day toward the end, because

I thought each guy, at least early on, had some interesting things to say. So I want to start

with AD. What were your takeaways from AD's Media Day? So AD was interesting. Before I heard him talk to the media, I saw him do his spectrum hit.

And I thought his spectrum hit was like just a very good sort of sit down with AD.

A.D. low key is a great quote.

AD tells you the truth.

He sometimes does it in a very straightforward way. He sometimes does it in a very straightforward way. He sometimes

does it in a roundabout way. He's never malicious with the truth. Some people can try to wield the

truth as a weapon in order to make a point or prove something or send a message. I don't think

AD ever really does that even if it can come off that way.

Like, for example, last year when AD said he thought that they weren't as organized,

I don't think he was taking shots at the coaching staff. I think he was just stating an obvious fact

that it's like we sometimes don't know what we're doing. And it shows up on the court.
