know showed for this episode. We are, I'm just kidding, I'm giving them a hard time, we have

rescheduled and we'll

we'll figure that out moving forward but the Lakers like I said they lose

105 to 86 to the Oklahoma City Thunder for the first time all season they get coast to coast

or start to finish however you want to call it they never hold the lead in the game

and looked pretty listless for the vast majority of it.

There were some conspiracy theorists out there wondering whether or not the Lakers were

spotting the thunder a game so that they could stay in the four of the five spot and

keep the rockets down in the six spot as the Lakers could assist with further

in tomorrow's game when they take on Houston then.

But no, I, I, look, I think as much as the Lakers say the right things and as much as most teams say the right things after you clinch something like their best record in the west and that first game comes up as much as you want to tell yourself, yeah, we got to stay focused, we got to do this, we got to do that.

There's going to be a letdown and for some teams it's less than others, but I thought for the Lakers and this one it was pretty evident that they knew they had

taken care of business the game before and wanted to get out of this one healthy while trying

some new things. So that's kind of how I'm looking at it. I am going to talk about a couple things from the game and from these first few games specifically, the Laker shooting has been pretty

piss poor the they have stayed in these games somehow and and you know Danny

Green has really struggled so there's plenty of stuff to really kind of get to at that you know without

treating this as a giant one-game sample size there are some trends that might be popping up here that I think are worth noting.

So I want to start with Danny Green, and the reason I want to start there is because quite frankly if he never

really gets it going he goes to of seven from three point range this time if he

never really gets it going and and there's a, in all likelihood he will get it going.

But if he doesn't, that seriously hampers what the Lakers are capable of.
