Well, just when things were looking up, the Lakers on a three-game win streak had this incredibly inspiring win last night against the Dallas Mavericks coming back from down 27 points.

Today, we get absolutely walloped by the news that LeBron James will miss

multiple weeks with an injury that we don't know exactly what it is. Just you had a foot

injury last night during the game you saw him plant his right foot, no contact. He said he

felt a pop or heard a pop. And then he went on to play the rest of the game.

It was fantastic. He played the rest. No, he wasn't pushing off a lot, but he did play through the

rest of the game. Sounded like there was a bit of optimus afterwards. Then today, we get the news.

Shams Tarania announcing that LeBron will miss multiple weeks. Whatever this injury is, he's going to get

multiple opinions. And I'm sure we're going to find out more in the coming days in terms of a more exact timeline. But for now, we just know it's going to be a while with no LeBron James. And that's going to obviously impact the Lakers and their playoff push just when everything was looking up. They finally had a healthy team.

And now this hits them and they're going to have to figure out some way

stay afloat without LeBron James.

Certainly not easy and certainly not what we were hoping to be dealing with as of this

moment.
