I am Trevor Layne, and unfortunately we've got injury news to talk about on today's show

of the Lakers losing Christian Wood for eight weeks, probably more than that.

Realistically, we'll dive into it joining me to help break down all of this.

good to see you. Glad you're healthy. At least you're between Christian Wood and Pukunakua.

I can't anymore, Daniel. I can't. Yeah, and we got the start of training camp in a few weeks

here. So I am healthy, ready to go in the best shape of my life, as they used to say,

or as they like to say this time of year. But, but yeah, the same cannot be said for Christian

Wood, unfortunately. Usually, you know, we get to training camp with everyone healthy and then the

injuries start happening. But I guess the Lakers just wanted to get a head start on that this year.

I apparently.

You know, this was an extremely injured team last season.

And then we get the news today that Christian Wood is,

I would assume this is not breaking for anybody who follows the Lakers at this point.

But this was the official report from the Lakers.

Christian Wood underwent a successful arthroscopic surgical procedure on his left knee today and that he will be re-evaluated. Gosh, I hate that word. Re-evaluated by team doctors in approximately eight weeks. I mean, he's not coming back in eight weeks. That means they're going to check and see if he can start to ramp up and prepare the comeback. So we're probably looking at

10 weeks, if not more. I would say the minimum, just by counting the games between now and

I'm looking into December by the time he comes back. We're talking about 20 plus games at least

that Christian Wood is going to be missing here to start the season. I guess, Daniel, let's let's
