I need to talk about a rumor that Lakers haters are using to mock the Lakers like they needed more ammunition, but they're completely removing context from this rumor. So I want to talk about that of why it's gotten to absurd levels, just to kind of point and laugh at the Lakers.

Also need to talk about Kyle Cusba and his criticism of Rob Polanka is a justified.

I also need to talk about Jared Vanderbilt, what his situation is heading into training camp, what that means for the Lakers, the rest of the roster.

And I'm going to continue the series previewing each player on the roster by talking about

Dalton Connect. Guy I'm really excited about it. Can't wait to dive into his stats and his production

as well. So that's where we're headed. We are 25 days away from the Lakers actually being back

on the floor, counting down to the start of preseason. I'm looking forward to it. I know a lot of

people are not. I've seen a lot of Lakers fans out there. I've been putting the countdown out there

on X over on threads. And a lot of people have been saying, oh, don't remind me the Lakers

have to play basketball again, such as remind me the Lakers have to play basketball

again, such as the state of Lakers Nation right now, Laker fandom, not exactly thrilled about what

the team has done or, can we say not done this summer, understandable too.

People have a right to be upset with what we've seen from this front office this summer.

Nonetheless, I can't wait to see the team back out on the floor and playing NBA basketball.

I think it's the return of the NFL that has got me even more fired up for the return of the NBA.

It's like we're almost, okay, we've got football back.

Now we're just about to get the NBA back to.

I can't wait.
