Welcome everybody to the Lockdown Lakers podcast. I'm Antone Irwin. I am not going to be joined by anybody.

Games like this are kind of tough to get somebody for after still working on the scheduling aspect of things as well. It's pre-season for all of us, really.

Today's a fun show though. Lakers beat the San Antonio Spurs 121 to 107,

so that puts us all in a better mood in and of itself. We got some better play, I think, across the board. A.D. is still kind of figuring his way through this. So in the first segment I focus on some of the shorter term

stuff and also give some props to Becky Hammond for her accomplishment tonight.

We in the second segment, we talk a little bit

about the notion that, you know,

A.D. is going to have to kind of maneuver his way through all of this and why it's taking a little bit longer than maybe we would like.

I thought about that a little bit between yesterday's show and today's show and figured out a

potential reason why. Also gave some props to Wesley Matthews who who played

really well so so happy for him as well on that one. Final segment we broaden things up a little bit and discuss some of the

trends that we've seen to this point and whether they will maintain going further or whether the

Lakers will buck some of these trends in a more positive way.
