Oh boy, the Lakers, well, they delivered a lump of coal to all of us on Christmas in a horrific third quarter.

They lost the third quarter against the Dallas Mavericks

by 30, 51 points for the Mavs in the third. The Lakers put up just 21 in response. And that effectively

ended the game. The Lakers, they won every other quarter of the game. In fact, they've won

the fourth by 10. And yet it didn't matter because they lost the third by so many points. We're going to break down what happened. Bottom line, not a very Merry Christmas delivered to fans, though, from your Los Angeles Lakers. Certainly not what we wanted to see, just to jump into the stats a little bit.

But 38 points from LeBron James, you get a great shooting performance out of him, and you waste it by losing the third by 30.
