This is the conflicting battling rumor that just came out a little bit ago via Mark Stein.

This was, well, actually via Jake Fisher on Mark Stein substack, that the Lakers

are expected to make a push for our old friend, former Laker, Brooke Lopez, to be

the Lakers Center next season.

However, there's also a report going around.

It's a little buzz going around that the Lakers are actually going to be getting

Clint Capella in free agency.

Obviously for both players, we'd be talking about a taxpayer mid-level exception.

That is a $5.7 million deal.

Now, I have heard most Clint Capella connected to the Lakers, but Brooke Lopez is another name that's clearly out there.

This is from Jake Fisher.

He said perhaps the most established center headed for the open market is the ring winning Brooke Lopez.

And you could say he is more established than Clint Capelle is.
