I was not expecting for it to be offseason talk already, but here we are. No, we were not hoping for that, but indeed, here we are. And fortunately, it's always a busy, busy offseason for the Los Angeles Lakers. When you talk about doing some math, heck, we may have to do a little bit of magic too in order to get you honest to L.A. But this is what's got people buzzing.

And the initial thing I got from one person was just the rumblings that it's already just the big cities.

One of the L.A. teams, one of the New York teams, maybe Miami, also mentioned to Chicago here.

Houston should be in the mix.

Ron, I guess first of foremost, the fact that it's already kind of making the rounds kind of known,

like which cities Janus would be interested in playing for, which teams he'd be interested in playing for.

To me, that suggests either the conversations are already kind of being had or were not far

off from official Janus wants out of Milwaukee.

Yeah, because I feel like in recent off seasons when the bucks were eliminated early,

the conversation was, is Janus going to request the trade?

But it never really progressed beyond, ooh, let's see is Janus going to request the trade? But it never really progressed

beyond, ooh, let's see if Janus requests the trade. This year, we're already getting a sense of like,

well, Janus hasn't done it yet. But if he does, we're feeling like it's probably going to be the,

yeah, it just feels like we're already heading in that

direction and i think this feels like a situation where the entire NBA all 30 teams are going to be

pretty much handcuffed on what moves they can make until yonis decides what what he wants he is kind of

this will be assuming this happens and i believe it will because i think that y that Janus essentially has to decide between staying in Milwaukee and contending for a championship. I don't think you can do both. You have to pick one or the other. And I think he's going to decide I want to contend for a championship. And that's where this is ultimately going to go. And when that happens, you're right, because 29 teams, Ron, are picking up the phone and making that call to Milwaukee.

I don't care where you're at in your rebuild process.

It doesn't matter.

You're making the call because it's Janus.

So with that being the case, if the Janus trade front takes a while to settle, to figure out some type of resolution, we could well see.
