I'm Brian, I'm on the phone with Ashven, and today we are talking about

Lake Mungo from 2008, directed and written by Joel Anderson, starring Rosie Traynor, David

Pledger, Martin Sharp, and Talia Zucker. In this Australian mockumentary, we follow the plate

of the Palmer family as mysterious events unfold following the untimely death of their

daughter, Alice.

And I picked this because I've seen it name dropped from time to time in discussions of like

top ten found footage movies, spooky ghost movies, etc. Unseen gems, stuff like that.

Had you heard of this one before, Ashman? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'd heard of it before. I thought I'd actually seen it before.

And then when I read about it and started watching it, I realized I hadn't.

But then when I came to the end, I realized I had seen this before.

What a roller coaster.

So we had a lot of surprises in it for me.
