Nate and I are on a personal mission to make the world sound more beautiful. I know very lofty,

but it's really all about spreading the tools of listening that we use as songwriter and musicologist.

That's really what switched on pop is for us.

And we know that for making this show, those kinds of heightened moments of hearing awesome things in music

are a lot more fun when you do it with friends. That's really why Nate and I make the show is so we can hang out and talk about music and share it with everybody.

I kind of think of us more as colleagues, Charlie, but um...

Oh, that's awkward.
