The Mix League LABR draft is the first expert league's draft of the year.

It's done in mid-February, right before pitchers and catchers go to spring training.

I thought we check in on that in the series of Labor League, so with the great Steve Gardner,

who runs all the labor contests, find them on USA Today as well.

I'll do my, I haven't complained this week about it but i lost uh seeger and o'neill cruz

and through within the course of three days lost a number of pitchers including geoffrey springs

let's all shed a tear uh for that one uh but i held on to bailey ober i held on to christopher

morel and my patience there was rewarded at least because they've been pretty good since finally, since their teams saw fit to play them at the big league level.

Yeah, that's true. I mean, that's an excruciating way. And a lot of people, you know, maybe didn't have the kind of patience that you did. And I didn't in other leagues.

Exactly.

It all depends on the format.

But yeah, I know I've had my problems, too, you know, waiting for for Gunner Henderson to come around.

And all sorts of, you know, Trey Turner has really not been, you know, the number three.

I thought I was getting a steal in mixed labor, getting Trey Turner third overall.
