Hello, welcome to Sky News and the All-Out Politics podcast.

I'm Adam Bolton, joined today by Sky News political correspondent Tamara Cohen, by the Guardian Zoe Williams,

by West Monsters, Michael Heaver, and by the head of Sky Data, Harry Carr.

And we are in the political bubble at the moment, midway between Labor in Liverpool

and the Conservatives in Birmingham. We'll be talking about those conferences and a detour for

the Prime Minister to New York and the United Nations General Assembly.

First up, though, the Labour Party Conference.

Quite a lot to talk about, although the big story was probably the party's position on Brexit.

As it stands, Labour will vote against the Checker's plan or whatever is left of it,

and opposed leaving the EU with no deal.

And it is inconceivable that we should crash out of Europe with no deal.

It would be a national disaster.

That is why, if Parliament votes down a Tory deal or the government

fails to reach any deal at all, we would press for a general election.
