My name is Alex Doherty and my guest today is Phil Burton Cartilage.

We talked about the recent local elections in England

and the parliamentary elections in Wales and Scotland, in which the Labour Party under Kyr-Stama

suffered an historic defeat. We talked about what the results mean for Stama's leadership

and whether we can expect the Labour Party to oust him in short order and what the result means

for the long-term trajectory

of the party. We also chatted about the Greens and what can be done to respond to media

smears against Zach Polanski and the Green Party more broadly. Finally, we talked about the

remarkable results in Wales and Scotland, where now both the Welsh Senate and the Scottish Parliament

will be led by nationalist parties.

And Phil explained why he thinks that reform becoming the main opposition in both countries

is a serious problem for the Union.
