Hello everyone and welcome to the long and rewinding Royal Road. This is Episode 31. The first

of 2023 and I got a really special treat for everyone because especially for myself because

when I do shows, whenever I create a show like say Cruel Summer or Thunderstruck and this

show I always think there's a bucket list or a short list on the bucket list of guests that I

always want to talk to about a specific topic and and always on that list is our guest today. I'm

so excited to be talking to him and that's my good friend from the porous link towards the host

of the Perez Paradise and that's Alan 4L. Hello Alan. Hello W.H. and I bet when you were thinking

that true and when you were when you were thinking about Alan 4L's on the bucket list for the long

and rewinding Royal Road, the history of the great all Japan maps in the 90s, I can't wait to talk to him

about a Junis Amida match. I mean it wasn't my first choice. I did send you a suggestion but

just so you know some behind the scenes is like I said you well let's talk about the the canams

versus Kikuchi and Kikobashi for the all Asia tags and you were like I have talked about that match

so many times that he wanted to do something different and everyone has heard my story about

meeting Kobashi and talking about the match with Jamesi who I didn't even know at the time was

behind me in the queue at the meet and greet and swears was the greatest thing he had ever seen

in his life and yeah Kobashi staring longly at the photo I printed off my computer to screenshot

a VLC player that I got up to something from the finish of the match. Everyone's heard me tell

that story. Everyone has heard me talk about that match. They've heard me talk about a

downcroff it's a healish strut. Everything about that match it's all there. It's obviously a classic

and I want to leave the door open to a fresh voice to pick that match and talk about it somewhere

else then the long and winding royal road. We've got important Junis Amida business to get to

that's fair. It's probably the only time we'll ever talk about Junis Amida on this show.
