Welcome to yet another edition of Golick and Smedy.

I am Mike Golick Sr.

You have way more nicknames than I do.

We are in the, as they say, the dog days of summer, right as training

camps are starting right after the baseball, All-Star game, basketball is over, hockey's over.

So we're kind of in that transition time. But there is always some things going on.

We're going to get to the football side where we have a clause in a contract that is one

I have never heard of before in my life.

And I've seen some clauses.

So we'll get to that.

But of course, just, you know, we have to start with.

The last time we talked, you were coming off vacation where you basically had really been

doing nothing, which is exactly what you should be doing on vacation.

And you talked about the first thing that you were going to bake, which I think was going

to be some sort of fruit pie product or some sort of product that included fruit.

Is that the road you went down?

I'm still in vacation brain mode, Mike. I have not baked now in about three weeks. Come on, Jess. I know. I feel really ashamed of myself. You know what I did make, though, Mike? I don't know if you're, I know a Trader Joe's recently opened in South Bend. Yes. I've heard Trader Joe's be described as the grocery store that people go to who don't know how to cook. And that is absolutely true because you can

buy any type of food there that's like pretty much already pre-made and you just pop in the oven.

I got these like, those like Brazilian cheese puff things. And I made those for lunch today. Six minutes in the

oven, Mike. I highly recommend. I think you would really enjoy them. See, I find right now, Jess,

and I'm not sure I like it, that you're deflecting right now. You're deflecting. You're deflecting.
