Don't let anybody tell you that it's not about guns, because it is. That's Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey at a vigil after yesterday's shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church.

The Democratic mayor echoed lawmakers in his party who have renewed calls for stronger gun control measures after the attack,

in which two children were killed, and 14 kids and three parishioners in their 80s were wounded.

The now-dead shooter has been identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman,

who was armed with illegally and recently purchased rifle, shotgun, and pistol.

Meanwhile, more stories are emerging of school staff and children protecting others.

Like this fifth grader, who told CNN affiliate K-A-R-E that he was just two seats away from the windows being shot at.
