Well, I know a lot of people are going through the dry January right now, kind of a reset for them.

Some people are saying, wow, I'm finding myself, I'm finding a life without alcohol.

But what happens when it wrecks your marriage?

You wouldn't think it would, but apparently it is at least in one couple.

And they sent us an email here for KVJ court.

Mainly it's him, I think, just kind of looking for a verdict on what he needs to do

because it was this time last year.

Rewind the clock 365 days and he jumped on to dry January back in 2025.

He said it was no big dramatic rock bottom moment.

I just needed a reset.

He said, but my wife did not join me. If anything,

she went in the opposite direction. She drinks pretty much every weekend and even sometimes

during the week. And now that I've been sober for a year, I am noticing with my newfound clarity

just how much we are now drifting apart. Over the last year, I increasingly became more put off by my wife's drunken behavior.

When she's drunk, she's louder, more repetitive, more emotional.

Her little jokes feel aggressive to me.

Her stories drag on forever.

And I never really noticed this when I was drinking with her,

but now it's just grating on me in a way I didn't expect. Oh, okay. So Virginia's husband, Panda, is emailing the show.
