The season is officially over and Giants Talk is here to talk about it.

I'm Cole Kuiper here with Giants Insider, Alex Pavilich. We're going to talk about that.

Alex, the Giants ended the season at Petco in a series that was supposed to happen months ago.

They lost two out of three to the Padres.

I was getting worried there that after all that, I mean, I got myself into a dicey territory on the last episode by saying it would take just an absolute disaster for the Giants not to finish at 500.

And then they lose the first two games in the series.

And I'm like, gosh, what an idiot.

Of course, this is how it goes down with 2021's Giants.

But they pulled that last W out on the final day of the year, a decisive win and finish the season

squarely at 500, just as we all predicted back in April.

It feels, I mean, we couldn't have predicted it.

Now it feels very appropriate.

Like when you go and look at their, I would recommend people go look at their game logs and just, it's insane how many times they've won like five in a row and then lost five in a row.
