Joining us on the podcast today is Kristen Sloaneen, managing director of Charge Across America,

a recent EV competition that pitted five teams trying to not just get across the country as fast as possible Leslie, but score points along the way by strategizing as to how they were going to charge, where they were going to charge.

It's very interesting.

Do you think you could do a charge across America right now?

Well, first, I think we need to tell people people this charge across America was a television event, right?

I mean, this is something where people, teams of people, five teams of people, I believe, went across the country, seeing, you know, how quickly I guess they could get to their destination and stay charged up, you know, stopping along the way to charge.

So could I do that?

Sure, I think that would be a lot of fun.

And it's a great way to prove about the EV technology

and more importantly, our charging. to see if it really

if it really will be our charging infrastructure in this country

to see if it really will stand up

because many of us would love to have an electric vehicle,

but there's this whole issue of can I get from point A

to point B and not have to run out of charge

or be sitting around four hours or at least a substantial amount of time

waiting to charge that vehicle back up.
