My fiance and I have been together for eight years, and I've always felt that his mother

doesn't like me.

He had a plan to propose to me, which involved taking a trip.

He had told his mother of this plan, and the day before we were supposed to leave for

a trip, she suddenly came down with appendicitis.

We obviously canceled our trip.

She had surgery to have her appendix taken out, since it was COVID.

Nobody could be in the hospital to visit her.

Now, I worked at a doctor's office, which is when she attended.

The emergency room faxed over the report from her hospital stay.

When I handed the report to the doctor, I told him that she'd had her appendix taken
