I wish Burke was here to participate in this conversation because I think of everybody

on the show. He's the one who is the biggest fan of former Georgia quarterbacks. That's

him. Bennett just led Georgia to their second straight college football national championship.

Unfortunately, was arrested on a misdemeanor public intoxication charge in Dallas yesterday

morning. So Dallas police department spokesperson said officers responded to a report of a man

banging on doors at 7 10 a.m. Sunday morning. The preliminary investigation found when officers

arrived, they located the man. Stetson Bennett 25 determined he was intoxicated. He was taken

into custody, transported to the city detention center and charged with public intoxication.

He ultimately left the detention center later that morning and could not be reached for

comment. So I don't know if he should still just celebrating. He's riding the wave of

winning that national championship, but this is a bad look. I mean, this is like the worst

time that this could possibly happen for him in the situation that he's in. But I mean,

you know, I hope it pans out. It works out for him. Yeah, yeah, because the whole thing

seems kind of odd, but that's that those are the only details we have so far.

Public intoxication seems like such a dumb charge to me. I mean, like when you're at a barn,

you're drunk. Are you intoxicated in public? Like I get it. Like let him cool off in a drunk

tank, but who who listening hasn't gotten drunk and been in public at one point, especially

in college? Yeah. He's I mean, and actually, I just I think this is like the perfect time

for it to happen. If it had to happen because he is riding that big wave and he has that

big win. And you know, people love him right now. So I think it's like, this is one of

those things that look back on it. Me like, yeah, I did something young and when I was

young, as far as his life, he had no, no biggie, but I'm just thinking in terms of like NFL
