The first show. So Kristen has a birthday this weekend. She is celebrating but doesn't win her husband or son around

Sorry not sorry. So the the mom guilt and the wife guilt started to set in I had made these plans

I mean months ago. So my dear friend Molly has a birthday in June as well. Literally a week before mine

And so we had done this last year where um we go out of town a couple hours and go to like a nice hotel

spa and we do some spa treatments. It's just very low key lounge at a pool right and we had a blast

last year and so again at the beginning of the year we're like what are we doing this year where

we're going to go and so we had decided on a spot again just a couple of hours away um a beautiful

hotel with a beautiful spa on a lake with a beautiful pool like this is what we're going to do

we're just going to lounge and relax all weekend and then as we get closer the mom guilt and the wife

guilt set sand and I'm like am I a bad mother that I do not want to spend my birthday with my child

and I am a bad wife that I don't want to spend my birthday with my husband and so I started googling

is it okay to spend time away? I'm not even kidding. Wow what did the internet say? Well the

internet is on my side. I found what I searched I found what I found what I wanted to find how about

that? You could always get from the internet the answer is that you really want. It's just the way

that you craft the search. And so I found this article from on medium from Jennifer Habrick and

I failed my grail the holy grail being able to enjoy my birthday guilt free. That's the real gift

to yourself right there. That's the free gift. The best part is medium is where anybody can go
