Hey everybody, it's Glenn Thrush with Politico's off message podcast.

We missed a week.

We apologize.

The campaign news has just been too heavy.

And I have a day job, okay?

Speaking of my day job, I have had a hell of a week. I'm not going to go into the

details, but just check out Twitter and check out some of the right wing websites like Breitbart.

One of my emails to John Podesta popped loose as a result of this WikiLeaks hacks, and people

did not apparently appreciate my sense of humor or my reporting techniques.

Just, I'm not going to get into a lot of detail.

I will at some later date when the fever breaks a little bit.

But it was a fascinating, if nauseating experience to be in the middle of a firestorm.

When people are willfully misinterpreting what you're saying you're getting spun people

are reaching out to you uh friends of yours people who you assumed were friends of yours are kind of

reaching out to you to see if they can grab a quote from you just a totally weird brand new

situation for me and i'm going to write about it someday um anyway we are about to have our third and thankfully final debate. I got 21 days left to

this thing and I can't go fast enough for me and I'm sure America agrees. I have some faith that

this will finally have an element of substance in it. The first debate was clearly these two candidates filling each other out.

The second debate was the most disgusting political event I have ever attended.

The thing that Donald Trump did with bringing the women into the debate hall was excreble.
