Thanks for having me. Tell us about the three key pivotal moments that called you to write this book.

Well, back in, let's say, 2000 and gosh, it's a blur to tell you the honest truth, between

16 and 20, life was upside down.

It was upside down for many of us.

So specifically for me, my father was dying of pancreatic cancer.

I was on the verge of reaching my 20-year milestone of living with stage four cancer myself.

We were in the middle of a global pandemic.

My business was faltering.

And it was just this divine storm of of grief and of all of the big messy

emotions that I write about in the book kind of colliding at once and that was when I realized

that this was a topic I wanted to tackle because it had been a while since I had

written a book and in publishing, you know, when it's been seven years, your publishers are itching

and saying, do you have anything in you, anything left? And, you know, I was feeling like I should

probably write some big, catchy, motivational, inspirational, aspirational book. But what was happening in my life
