He was very gracious to be on the show. 57 years young. You're joining us from overseas and apparently in outer space. What is that?

This is a relic from my pre-dad days when I had time to do things like video games. But now it's just the chair that the chair there's all this left. I don't have the luxury of things like that.

But Michael, can I just observe that you've become incredibly American in that you could literally sell me anything with like the way you introduced me. I was like, oh, this guy's going to be amazing. Who is it?

That was me. I assure you. That is not how I introduce all my guests. I don't want to say scum of the earth. This is a show for garbage people. So the fact that we have such a quality person is so pleased to be on.

You get to be top of the heap. Exactly. The garbage heap. Yes, sir. You and your partner Francis Foster are coming to the States for a couple of weeks. I want to ask you about it on the air. What brings you across the pond?

Yeah. Well, we're just seeing people will be doing a few things in terms of different interviews and stuff. I can't talk about some of it yet because we have this experience on trigonometry.

Whenever we start announcing stuff before it happens, it always like gets pulled or something goes wrong at the last minute.

So we're going to go and do stuff and then put the content out when it comes out. But you know, last trip to the US for also first trip to the US was very productive. You will remember the Sam Harris episode.

You know, that was fun. And you know, we interviewed Bill Byrne, Adam Carola and you know, a bunch of people. But we also didn't get a lot of people that we really wanted to have on as well.

So yeah, it's going to be, it's going to be a lot of fun, man.

What's the trickiest part about your relationship with Francis? Because whenever you have two people working together, it's going to be some disagreement. It doesn't have to be dramatic. But like, where do you guys not see eye to eye?

Huh, that's an interesting question. Where do we not see eye to eye that I can say in public. Yeah, it could just be like we should have more of the type of guest or that type of guest. Let's be hostile.

Yeah, yeah. No, there's plenty of that. No, I'm kidding.

What do we do? I think, um, I think Francis and I slightly different politically. Okay. And he's probably much more open minded to hearing some lefty ideas than I am.

Is the honest truth. So he's the more open minded out of the two of us. So that is always the slide. You know, it's like a challenge is like, he'll be like, shouldn't we have this guy on?

And I'm like, that has an idea. You know, like, that's, but, but it's not because he's an idiot because I personally don't like him or whatever. Do you know what I mean? Like, you know what the word is for that?

I love it. Slavic. Slavic. Slavic. Yeah. Slavic asshole. Same thing really. So Slavic. Slavic. Slavic week. Yes. Oh, okay. He's weak or I'm weak. He's weak. Okay. When we see that is the Slavic attitude. That's what I was getting. Yes.

Yes. But yes. So I think Francis is more open minded to me in terms of guess, particularly. And that also means that occasionally he drank someone in, perhaps against my wishes, who actually turns out to be incredible. I can't actually think of someone from the top of my head, but it has happened theoretically. That will one day happen.
