Hi, everybody. This is Scott Sard. I wanted to take a minute or two today to link this gentleman right here.

Unbelievable book, by the way, a biography on Conrad Lawrence, 1976 biography. So I think it now constitutes an antiquarian book. He won the Nobel Prize in

1973 with two other human ethologists. And I'm going to link a principle from ethology,

which I'll explain in a second, to the end of the acceptance speech of,

let me look at her name.

I didn't know who she was until I saw it all over X.

So she goes around sort of being hysteric and crying and so on.

And then at the end, to all my brown sisters and brown girls,

and we belong in any room we come into and our light shines and so on,

as though until she came along in 2026, there were no brown people that had ever been

noticed in Hollywood.

I never seen one.

Certainly in music, you never see one.

And I can't wait until the day that hopefully some

black guy breaks through the NBA we you know they need to be seen and so you might say well

how are you going to link the ending of her speech to Conrad Lawrence so let me tell you

about Conrad Lawrence Conrad Lawrence. So let me tell you about Conrad Lawrence. Conrad Lawrence was one of the

pioneers of the field of ethology. Ethology is the study of instinctual patterns of

behaviors, right? And so what are the evolutionary roots of certain instincts? And so the classic

example would be imprinting where a duckling hatches and it has an inbuilt instinctual mechanism that basically says,
