| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the podcast dedicated to making you a faster cyclist or |
| 0:04.1 | triathlete in this case. Yes, the cycling coach podcast presented by trainer |
| 0:07.5 | road. I'm coach Jonathan Lee with our head coach Chad Timmerman. Hi buddy. Our |
| 0:10.6 | CEO Nate Pearson. Hello. And a very special guest with us today Norman Bannock. How |
| 0:14.7 | you doing Norman? I'm fine. Hello. Where are you from first of all? I'm from |
| 0:19.1 | Germany. Although I do live in Austria, nowadays. Oh cool. Awesome. We are going to |
| 0:24.6 | talk triathon how you got to Kona all the details on how you plan to execute |
| 0:28.7 | it. Kona, but also how you got there. And first things first, we'll get into your |
| 0:33.2 | tri background a bit, but this is pretty crazy. So you qualified for Kona Ironman Vici. |
| 0:38.4 | And just going over the numbers here on this, this is pretty nuts. So one hour |
| 0:43.5 | swim, one hour and 11 11 seconds, I should say, four 33 bike really fast and |
| 0:50.4 | 257 run after doing the bike like that. So you got a 837, which is insanely fast. |
| 0:57.4 | That's crazy. And then there was no pros there. Yeah, that's right. No pros, right? |
| 1:02.6 | What was that about? It's no pro race. There's a 70.3 that it before, which has |
| 1:08.5 | pros, but the full distance doesn't have any pros. So what in place did you get |
| 1:13.6 | man over the line? I won. You won. How did that feel? It was pretty, pretty unreal, to be honest. |
| 1:21.9 | I don't know, I obviously knew before I crossed the finish line that that I will win. |
| 1:27.5 | But I haven't really realized it, I guess, for a few days or so, because it's not |
| 1:35.0 | something you start in for an Ironman competition and you think, well, I will probably win that. |
| 1:40.7 | Yeah, no one, right? I'll be cool with that. But yeah. First across the tape. Did you get |
| 1:47.1 | the pin? Yeah, that was that was semi embarrassing actually because I wanted I thought about |
| 1:51.9 | what kind of move I want to make. And then I grabbed it, but I was still way too fast. |
