money spent on the high profile murder case already exceeds 3.6 million dollars that is according to an Idaho

statesman investigation and we are joined by the reporter as promised who

broke this story and of course that would be the man in the

plaid shirt Kevin Fixler. He is an investigative reporter with the Idaho

State statesman he was named reporter of the year by the AP in large part because of his incomparable work on this case and he's been following the gruesome story from the very beginning and has traveled multiple times to Moscow, Idaho.

And then of course we've got Tara Malik, who is an Idaho licensed attorney practicing in state and federal court in business and

commercial litigation and she has experience in both civil and criminal law.

So thank you both for being here. Obviously, anytime we discuss this case, I always want to remember the victims, Kaylee Gonzales, Maddie Logan, Sonne Kurnodal, who of course was dating Ethan Chapin at the time of this horrific crime.

Brian Koberger has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary.
