On today’s show, Michelle and I discussed the dreaded word stress. We talked about the stress deposits in our stress bucket and how each stress response is not created equal. We discussed how stress affects your physical body and fitness goals and strategies to mitigate that stress. Remember, we have to seek these parasympathetic activities or find ourselves living in a sympathetic state.

Our perceptions also play into that, but we, if that bucket is full, you're going to be screwed.

We talked about the effects on your physical body, on your weight gain or weight loss,

on your long-term health, like cardiovascular health, blood pressure, heart attack, strokes,

and that we have to look at ways to mitigate this.

And when we talked about, Michelle gave a good analogy of it's a measuring cup going in and scooping out some of that stress and getting it out of your bucket.

We gave you a bunch of tools and tactics to do that, including meditation, breathwork, journaling, getting rid of toxic people in your life.
